The Big Bang Theory S07E04
Amy is introduced to one of Sheldon's favorite movies, Raiders of the Lost Ark. She enjoys the film, though she points out that Indiana Jones is superfluous, given that the ark would still have been found and would have destroyed the Nazis even if Indiana wasn't involved. After spoiling the movie for him, Sheldon tries to find something that Amy loves and spoil it for her. When Sheldon agrees to watch a bit of Little House on the Prairie with her and starts pointing out historical inaccuracies, Amy realizes what he is doing. She explains that they are in a relationship and he should just let her know if he is angry, rather than seeking revenge. He does, and Amy apologizes. In the end, Leonard, Sheldon, Howard and Raj all watch Raiders of the Lost Ark, but fail to find a response to Amy's point.
Penny buys the book The Disappointing Child, which Leonard's mother wrote about his childhood problems for her psychology class. This really upsets Leonard, so Penny goes out of her way to make him feel better. Leonard takes advantage of her sympathy and Penny learns about his behavior through Bernadette, who did not fall for Howard's similar attempt. Later, Leonard comes into Penny's apartment and finds her in a nightie, promising to make him feel better. Leonard starts to undress and then, thanks to a peeved Penny, finds himself Skyping with his mother.
Raj and Stuart prepare profiles of themselves for online dating sites, but none of the women who check them out leave any messages.
